It used to be how many points. Then it was score. Now it is if a Deer is mature. I probably should not do this but what the heck. Are deer like people? I know of people that are more mature at 15 than some at 50. So, does that mean that maybe a 2.5 year old Deer may be more mature than one at 6.5?

Hahaha, probably not. The society we've constructed protects the dumb.

There is a difference between mental maturity and physical maturity. Go check out the TFF Off Topic if you don't believe me.

As a hunter I don't care about a deers mental maturity.

My theory is "If I see a deer I want to shoot, I shoot".

I do. If an old one is stuck on young & stupid that means he should be easy to shoot. You know, if he doesn't get ran over from playing in the road first.

There's a lot of truth in this statement, 100% to be completely honest.
