Debating on going out to the ranch this weekend. I hear hunting during a full moon is not very productive. Any thoughts on hunting during the full moon or post full moon???

I don't worry about the moon phase that much, what I do is adjust when I hunt. Mid-day hunting with a full moon at night can be very productive. You can't kill a deer from home.

Go every chance you get because some day you'll be to old to go and regret not going even one time. And as "stx" said, your not going to kill one sitting in the recliner at home watching hunting shows.

Ive had some poor hunts and some really good hunts hunting on full moon. I have sat over the noon several times and have yet for that one to pay off much.

You have to actually stay in the blind and not try to hunt from the kitchen table

As was mentioned, mid day can be very good. Also, depending on where you hunt, if the rut is kicking in, you could see activity at any time of the day.
