Thank you fella's! There is nothing more exhilarating than having a big bull screaming at you from 50 yards away, and all you can see are his horns through the baby pines!
My buddy and i are already making plans for next year!

I agree 100%, nothing I've ever done in my 40+ years of hunting compare's to Elk hunting in the Rockies in September. Bringing in a 7-9 hundred pound bull to within spitting distance is a memory that will burn into your brain forever. Congrats sir on a fine bull!!! Well Done, Elk
