Don't have the income like most on here.. So buy food suplements for deer, at cheaper prices... Mainly ta get pic's on cam's... While back had thread bout finding bugs in corn when the new cheap sinner went out... Used the bags had left, for when hog showed up on cam's... Deer weren't messing with the corn, rather minneral blocks, cause of warmer weather... Took a hog... Finished last bag of corn day or two ago... Had bought bag of wildlife feed for deer, just before spinner went kaput.. Opened it today.. Think it might have sowered... It could have done same in stopped up feeder... Any sugestions, thought bout putting small amount out were have corn pile, see how deer react... Or is it best ta just throw away... What do ya'll do? flag

rofl cheers do i need ta get permit for the sour mash ? Have had the corn get little mildew around edge... Threw it away... Bag was only bout $5.00... Should have put it out earlier.... Try couple cups as sugested in front of cam... If deer don't take, throw it away... Would use it for hogs, but been awhile since seen any sign... Thanks for input... flag

If it's soured, the hogs will love it.

Use the soured stuff for catfish chum. Greater chance for food on the table IMO

Nice cool evening.. Does came looking for corn pile... Looked puzzled... No corn left, had put the wildlife feed 3 steps closer ta cam.. They circled, went ta minneral blocks, then over ta oak tree were corn feeder is... Bout hour later came back again.. Not touching the wildlife feed.. This was morning... Put small amount of wildlife feed at other end by cam... Think gonna give it ta friend & let him use it as catfish chum flag

Colt, best of luck to you sir. Hope your table is soon blessed with a fresh harvest. Save that corn. Hog's will be on it like a fat kid on cupcake's.

Soak it in water and set in Sun for a few days with lid on and try to draw hogs in.

cheers was looking at ol pic's from cam's, it been two months, got hog on 18th August... The other one showed up once early in morning on cam couple days later at corn pile, just plain corn.. Seen fresh tracks down by creek that week... Nothing since... Yagh can have best bait, but don't do no good if no hogs around.. That wildlife feed has got some smell... Tis why my ta-go-to place for hogs been OSBWMA finding hogs always been easy... Health not what it used ta be... As pappy once said: mind is willing, the body is week ... A good friend & i were about 2+miles back in when jumped two hogs... Smallest took off... Had stairdown with biggest, 300+# ... Still get teased about that day.. It was not one of my better days health wise... He could have back packed it out by himself, me carring rifles.. Pride got in way, kept telling him it was big & i wouldn't have been much help... Like been telling people on here, OSBWMA got hogs, 24-7-365 a day hunten & traping, high-tech, on surrounding privete land, theirs hogs, only problem tis back packing em out for grillen & chillen... flag
