Customer makes a 1030 yard kill on pronghorn!

I got a text today from one of my customers that he was able to take a pronghorn today from long range! He shot it at a lasered 1030 yards!!! Amazing! This is the longest confirmed kill I have heard of with my ammo. There has been several in the 600 and 700 yard range, but never this far. Posted with permission.

Rifle- Custom 6.5-284 Norma
Ammo- 140 grain Berger VLD @ ~2950 fps.

Great shot! How the heck did he get a range finder to read off of an antelope at over a thousand yards?

May have ranged off a rock, bush, or tree nearby if it wouldn't work off the goat. If you're shooting that far, you probably have a 1600yd RF by Leica or similar that can do it.
