Good morning all! - 09/24/15 12:59 PM

I just had to say good morning to you all. I have not posted a lot lately as I have been busy selling my house, moving into a hotel, moving into an apartment, building a new house... all this while livin the dream!.. lol

Anyway, was logged into the wifi cams watching deer on the cams this morning, drinking my coffee and figured to say howdy to you all.

Pitchfork.. hope all is well with you amigolio. We need to get back out there and see if we can shoot something else.. or at least cook up some more food!

Have a great day, guys!

Russ

(you cannot tell well, but there are three deer in the pen)... 130 yards away.

Nah, they are under the feeder. The camera is cheap (like 50 bucks.. no pun intended.. heh) and the wifi signal is like 2000 ft or more from the cabin so, sorta grainy. If you are watching them you can see them well, but the screen shots are not that good, especially after I crop them for upload.

I'll try to get a better picture as soon as I see them again. I logged in like 5 minutes ago and there was a deer under the stand.. heh

ok, better picture. Cannot see the two bucks fighting in the back or the doe or smaller buck behind them running all over the place, so 5 deer in this picture.

Mornin', Russ. So glad to hear that y'all didn't have any fire damage. We'll shoot the heck out of the quail this year. Sweet setup you've got on the camera. See ya'soon.

Good morning my friend. Really great to hear from you. I was worried about that fire getting your place.

Get ready for some quail hunting. I've never seen so many birds. That is a cool camera set up. We have really enjoyed the axis steaks. The only thing I missed was you cooking them!

Look forward to seeing you soon Russ. cheers

I am picking up a public land license for the first time this weekend and going to hit a few dove places around where we live so I can stock up for your next visit wink

I also may throw together some gumbo our next time out.

The last week of the year is my favorite week, the place is quiet and I can stay out there for a week and trap hogs and hunt all I like. THIS year, I will not be shooting much as I have nowhere to store it till the new house is done, but may shoot some camp meat and some "give away" meat heh... but a nice pot of gumbo on the stove is awesome when the weather is cool!

If you guys are not doing anything, it is always a good time to visit too.

Looking forward to shooting AT some birds!;)
