I'm inclined to think that is a joke until I'm reminded of some conversations with people I've had that place them on such a low level of intelligence as to lend credibility to a stunt like this. It just might be a legitimate request.

They're pretty dang trained, go look at Lamar & Haden Valley, along the river out of Fishing bridge and the deep Canyon leaving Mammoth before the sheep rock. Want to see how well they're trained to come to humans, go pet one of the large brown ones cubs.

I think those bears were very inconsiderate. Those poor people spent all that money and used up all of that vacation time to visit, and the rude bears couldn't even be bothered to say hello.

I guess Momma never taught them any manners.

Reading, seeing, and hearing this kind of ignorance makes me want to go cry in a corner for all of humanity.

God help us all.

My brother worked for a summer at the lodge in Yellowstone as a cook. He said that he had to ride a bicycle back to the sleeping quarters at night after work...smelling like hamburgers. Our family always said he wasn't right in the head. That confirmed it.

Hey HnF, hope all is well, havent seen you round much?

You are right, this is partly what is wrong now, folks are so disconnected that they think animals in a park are equal to those in a zoo or cage.

Some people need to be eaten by bears and other tame animals.

We be doin' OK! Hot weather showed up so we took an unplanned vacation in central Colorado to do a little trout fishing. I can get used to this "retired" stuff. loser8

Good to hear! Hard to beat sitting up there with a pole, do any good and where did y'all end up fishing? I have only fished the southern and SW side of the western slope.
