Looking to join a hunting club/meet hunting partners

Just moved to the Killen/Harker Heights area from OK. Trying to meet up with a few good hunters and get to know the area.

Didn't know what a hunting club was until I moved to Alabama. Also, deer blinds are called shooting houses here.

... I am just down the road a bit in Georgetown. About the only hunting club I know of in this area is Elm Creek Hunting Inc. about 10 miles east of Temple for Dove and Duck hunting and I believe catch & release fishing. I was a member there a few years back but didn't get to use it enough to justify the cost of the lease plus it was a bit of a haul from my work in Austin. http://elmcreekhunting.com/

I think there is an exotic hunting place around Salado but don't have the name of it.

Hunting clubs are hard to come by in the area you moved to. Mostly in East Texas because they justify with all the trees and thick brush putting 30 hunters on 1000 acres.
