Bushnell trophy cam

Bushnell trophy cam - 11/12/14 07:33 PM

My SD CARD tapped out at 800 pics but the camera said there was 1500+. How do I recover the rest. Will they load to the next card or do I have to hook it to my computer to see them.

camera can not hold that many. So either something is wrong with the card to only show 800 (my guess) or something is wrong with the cam to show that many...

I would work on getting the data off the card, they aren't on the camera. I think the camera can only hold around 20 pictures with its built in memory...

That's actually what I was thinking. In the stand with an old camera. Will look at it on computer when I get home.

800 pics? how big is your SD card? those pics shouldn't be more than 1mb or so... 1000 pics per GB of memory.

That's a 2gb card and a 8mp camera. Still havnt put it in th the computer yet but will see today. I've been having trouble with the camera. It's a bushnell trophy. I heard great reviews but so far mine have gave me plenty of trouble.

something odd going on. I ran 10 of those cameras a few years ago. the photo size was around 880 KB, so you should be able to put over 2000 photos on a 2 GB card.

what kind of problems are you having? I'm real familiar with them.... great cameras. if you run the expensiv lithium batteries, you can get well over 12,000 photos on a set of batteries.

Great battery life for sure. Sometimes they will go a few days ago with no pics. Then back to normal. The coons are religious so I know it's just missing pics. Poor quality nighttime pics.

how zoomed up is that? what does the entire photo look like? you're going to get some of that fuzziness on the outside, fringe, but within 20-30 feet, it should be a lot better.

We've had some issues with our trophy cams. Sent them back twice. First one was very dark pictures. Second the internal screen quit working. Finally the 3rd one works great.

Have you checked to see if you can update it. That picture seems very dark.

ThT is somewhat zoomed but not only 2x or 3x. All of my nighttime pics are that dark.

I use to run 50 Bushnell trophy cams and talked to the manufacturers several times and found out they run best with SANDISK cards. Had trouble with several other brand of cards.

short of taking it back to academy and exchanging it for another one, I'd say make sure the LED lighted area isn't pointed down at the ground too much. you should have a pretty bright area in the photo somewhere. those trophy cams shoot a fairly narrow band of infrared light.
