ammo at cabelas

I am at cabelas in Allen, and the clerk just told me they have a truckful of ammo being unloaded right now. He does not know what is on it, but says it will be on the shelves within an hour.

you couldnt have waited until I got off from work at 6 to tell everyone?

the good stuff probably won't last long anyhow. It is packed in here.

true. Just hoping .22 lr becomes available again at a decent price cause I am recieving my fathers old .22 here soon.

hahaha. I was going to shhhh... Don't tell everybody. I just got back from lunc at Academy (not saying which one)lol it's stocked with .223, 308. and most rifle ammo. I'ts getting beter around here I guess. It's not so hard finding .223 and .308 anyway.

They have hertyers 223 steel cas

They had CCI .22 LR Mini Mags for about $7/box of 50 yesterday.

Their limit was one box so I passed. Shipping would have pushed it past my comfort limit & I had just placed an order for some other stuff.

Still can't find .40 or .22

They had about 3000 rounds of 7.62x39. Just missed on a box of 100 380's. no 9, 10, or 40 or 45 though. At least they have some. BPS has nothing, and gun counters are bare, very depressing.

Cabelas in ft. worth had 2100 rds federal 22 LR in an ammo can for $99 last Thursday. They had a pallet on the floor with an employee "guarding it" and obviously a 1 can limit. Damn near everybody I saw grabbed one (including me). Sorry i couldn't get the word out, but work and turning my office into the upcoming baby's room have kept me off the forum.

I went to Cabelas in Buda yesterday and couldn't believe how much ammo they had. Was nice to walk up to a shelf on a Saturday afternoon and grab 5 boxes of 223 and 5 boxes of 5.56 put em in my basket and head to the register. No where in San Antonio can you do that, havent been able to do that in 4 months!

I've been ordering off Cabelas website for store pickup all along. You don't pay shipping and it is usually here in about a week to 10 days..

I picked up 3 100 round winchester white box in .40 today. They also had a bunch of herters .40

Allen store has plenty of ammo and AR 15's. I was there around noon.
