Searching

How is it that when I try to search for the most basic of things I tend to always get NO results.
Example: Searched for "sig" (without parens) in Classifieds....returned NO results. Retried searching ALL forums...returned no results. This has happened so frequently that I have quit using the search function. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

Use google search and put site:texashuntingforum.com before your search term. If you put in just sig you're going to get a lot of links. If you get real specific it will bring up the most relevant posts first.

Your search has to be at least 4 characters. Sig will always give no results. One way to get around it is to use it in a phrase search. For example "sig pistol" with the quotation marks included.

Another way around the three character limit is to search for *sig*, but this will give you every word that has sig in it.
