A juvenile leusistic skunk. First I have ever seen. Client trapped it last winter around the Waco area.

why not? We have done several and they make really cool mounts. This one was unique and the client wanted it done.

Nice mount. Much harder to mount small mammals and bobcats, foxes, etc than deer.

Looks amazing. How does one go about mounting a skunk? Can it be done without the smell?

Re: Leusistic skunk - 12/24/15 04:43 PM

I would of had him mounted too, really cool.
I have shot a few monster skunks that I considered having mounted, but they always sprayed and I was afraid that the smell would never go away.

I believe the tanning process removes the smell
