Special Whitetail Mount

I wanted to share this special mount with all of you. This whitetail mount is for Carl Griffin II and it has a very special meaning for Carl. Some of you may know that Carl lost his dad not to long ago to cancer and this whitetail represents the last hunt Carl and his Dad had together. You see not only does Carl have a love for the outdoors but he also has a love for the Lord, both of which were instilled by his Dad. Not long ago I called Carl and asked him if he and his Dad had a favorite scripture. He said they did - Genesis 27:3. So this is how I incorporated their favorite scripture into this mount. Love you brother, brother in Christ. Hopefully I did the mount justice and that it will always preserve that special memory you had with your Dad.

Looks good , I like the pedistool mounts. I got my taxidermist to mount a couple deer for my wife and son that way. Ive always liked the broadside look. I may get one of my deer mounted that way this coming season. Kinda getting board with the regular shoulder mounts. Ive always wanted one with the head tilted in the fighting position, but the taxis always say that they cant get that form. I figured why not saw the head off and pin it back in the downward position, but maybe too much stretching ?
