Got one back in Hurst from MC Taxidermy

Super pleased with euro I picked up from MC Taxidermy today! Very fair pricing and good turn around if your in mid-cities area of DFW. Good people. Will definitely use again.

Been using Mike for years for all my Skull mounts. I bet he has done twenty of them for me. Great guy and a fair price. That is a very nice deer.

Love the skull color! How much to get it done like that (inlcuding the stand)?

Thanks. I painted it myself. Black basecoat with copper acrylic in an airbrush. Skull with that type stand ran around $70.00. I'm sure all that can vary with materials (i.e. type wood) used. From everything else I've seen anything under $90 is a good deal.

I had one I shot 2 weeks before this one done at a higher profile place, before I knew about Mike. I way overpaid for the one before this that I had done elsewhere. The place I went to first did a nice job, I just know now that I paid too much there. Mike will get my euro's from now on.

I took 2 heads to him around Feb 1st because of all the recommendations from THF members. They should be getting close to ready. I'll let you know what I think and post photos here when I pick them up. I think I was quoted $70 each when I dropped them off.
