TNT Taxidermy in Ingram - 11/26/14 02:38 AM

Got to meet Taylor, the owner of TNT this weekend at his shop in Ingram. What a great young man and WOW is he talented. My BIL shot a nice Axis buck Sunday and we dropped it off today. I can say with great confidence after seeing some of Taylors work and visiting with him, he is more than just a taxidermist. He asks allot of questions about what the animal was doing, re; chasing, fighting, resting, etc; Taylor can create special poses to reflect these things, pretty cool. Hope to take him "something" to mount on my next trip back to the Hill Country in January.

His Dads a hoot too!!

Don't put that where he may see it. We don't need Talyor's head any bigger than it already is!

Ha Ha, he was very busy working on a GIANT bobcat, he took the time to show me how you have to go through each whisker follicle on the "inside" of the hide and clean them just right so the whiskers will stick out naturally not lay back against the face...pretty cool.

I may hunt with Taylors Dad next season...
