Care for bird mounts - dusting?

I hope professional feather gurus can offer advice.

I have a really nice pair of flying pintail drakes on a habitat base. The mount is close to 10 years old and has a pretty good layer of dust on it. Is there a good way to clean this up?

Can I just run a vacuum attachment on the feathers? Is there another/better method to dust/clean a mount? Are there recommendations for non-toxic solvents out there?

Thanks!

I use one of those Swiffer dusters. Works great (go in the direction of the feathers) and keeps them looking good!

What about an can of air? Think that would do any damage?

My taxidermist said to use a feather duster.

I've used a slightly damp paper towel with good success.

the Swiffer idea sounds pretty good...I've used those on my deer mounts

very lightly hand dust it with fleece cloth or a swiffer duster. never against the feather direction.
