First dish

Someone asked on a earlier thread about vegetable dishes. I offered up sweet potatoes, with olive oil, maple syrup, lemon juice, and topped with a sprinkle of cayenne. I went on to write that it could be cooked ahead of time and reheated later. It's done.



I'll be cooking in snatches this afternoon and have dinner at the halftime of the Cowboys game. Lots of people have their feast for lunch. When do you have yours?

We ate at 1:00. Pie was at 2:30

We ate around 4:15 in order for a few folks to get home before dark that came up from the metromess. It was good.
