These are from my neighbor. He's laded. I pick a few and eat them on my morning walk, but I can live without them. How about you?

I love 'em. They are also great for making preserves. Fig preserves on a hot, buttered biscuit is a treat!

I grew up with several large fig trees in our back yard ... no telling how many I've eaten. My parents used to make fig preserves and dad would use strawberry jello instead of pectin, hard to tell from strawberry preserves other than the size of the seeds.

My grandmother use to have a nice fig tree in her back yard! We loved it, and then hurricane Rita tore it down. We tried setting it back up for her but it failed to grow back....

I read a holicoast book and they mentioned dried figs in there. I plan to pick a few and dry them in my convection oven.
