I've only brought one home. I picked it when it first hit the ground. It had skin on. I cooked it with cornbread dressing just like I would a Butter Ball. It came out fine.

Usually just cut the breasts out of mine. They are good as fajitas, chicken fried strips, or if you brine them they will grill or smoke well.

Chicken fry breast. Cut it cross grain in 1/2 inch wide pieces. Love it!

breast marinated and wrapped in a 'bacon weave', on smoker very low & slow. awesome every time.
sooo good I now buy 'frozen breast only' turkey from store to do one every month when run out of wild...

the 'bottled kind' is perfect for 'dessert' (or WHILE smoker going... nuts) !

Pluck and smoke whole bird

Breast brine and grill, wrap and smoke, strip and fry nuggets...

Legs and thighs usually make pot pies or soup.
