Couldn't wait any longer......had to fire up a pot of venison chili......
Gathered a few ingredients.....
Cut up a pound of bacon....
Browned 1 lb of bacon, 4 lbs of venison, and 4 lbs of wild pig....
After browning the meat I put it in the big pot....took the meat drippings, added some bacon grease, 4 chopped medium onions, 4 large chopped jalapenos, 1/2 a clove of garlic chopped, and chopped up 2 cans of chipotle peppers....added cumin (ground & whole) along with 3 different types of chili powder....
...all cooked down.....I wish you could smell this picture....
....and added to the pot with the previously browned meat, sea salt, 4 cans of diced tomatoes, a can of tomato paste....and some chopped cilantro....
Now simmering on the stove for four hours.......
