For fathers day the last couple of years, the wife and my three boys and their families have spent 4-5 days at Pointe West http://pointewestbeachclub.com/. Great place with an awesome pool and private beach access.
The snack bar is second to none as everything from fried shrimp to burgers is excellent and very reasonably priced. Had a crawfish boil last year and peel and eat shrimp this year. Pay by the pound and eat until you pass out. Live band on Saturday nights.
