Ventured out of Texas for the weekend... - 04/02/18 06:08 PM
The wife and I loaded up Friday morning and went to Santa Fe, NM for the weekend. Yes I know, this is "on the road in Texas" but several of you may hit Santa Fe at some point in time. We go several times a year so here's some suggestions:
Lodging: Inn on the Paseo...a great little Bed an Breakfast within 5 blocks of the square.
Breakfast (if you don't eat at the Inn) - Tecolote; outstanding.
Lunch - The Shed; great food but remember to duck when walking thru the doorways.
Dinner - Tomacita's; excellent food and drinks.
Indian Crafts and Jewelry...the square. And, if you're on the square, look for John Wayne. He's a street singer that's great. Actual name is Michael Combs and has some YouTube videos out. If you're on an art tour, hit Canyon drive.
Well lunch is about over so back to work.
