Bills Fish House

I know, it's in Oklahoma but barely so it's worth talking about. Best Catfish I have eaten. I got 2 jumbo shrimp, 2 stuffed shrimp, scallops and catfish. Wife just got the Catfish and we had fried pickles for an appetizer, all was delicious. You have to try this place.

I grew up on Bill's Catfish. It is very, very good. You definitely get enough eat. Plus they have the best tartar sauce ever.

I used to eat a Bill's all the time. Absolutely loved it. It used to be hard to get in on a Friday or Saturday Night. Good food and yes awesome tarter sauce.

Is it worth a two hour drive? Flying Fish is twenty minutes away and not too shabby.

It is catfish, not cod like most places. Cut thin, no fat ring. Get the full order.

Where in Oklahoma?

Just north of Byers, TX.
However, I grew up not too far from there and was always told it was not actually catfish.
Peach Orchard down the river is much better IMO.
Tartar sauce? No comparison.

I like the Peach Orchard too but I prefer Bills.

Bills is between Byers and Waurika.

We tried the Peach Orchard once never again...
