I always have a tough time deciding between the burrito and the chimichanga at Allsup's. Both hit the spot on a road trip.

Can't beat that. More sauce. They actually sell their sauce in a bottle now. Don't forget the Doritos and big red

Re: Dinner time on Hwy287 - 11/02/17 09:23 PM

If it wasn't for $.79 Alsups burritosa at lunch I would have probably starved in high school. We had an open campus, parents had already moved to the big city because of work and I was pretty much on my own. Loved it when they ran them 2 for a buck. Liked them then, like them now.

When traveling, you can start the fill up, run in and pee, grab a drink and a burrito all before the tank is full. Sometimes folks are in a hurry.....Dave also isn't fat nor careless!

I bet they are good. I like the big green chili burritos they sell at most gas stations. You know, the ones you chunk in a microwave for a few minutes. I can't tell you have many times I've eaten burritos on the go during camping, fishing, and hunting trips.
