Twin Peaks Plano - 09/22/17 01:26 PM

on Central Exp between Park and Parker. Went there for lunch yesterday and man has that place gone downhill bad.
Was there between 12:15 and about 1:30 hardly anyone in there and it was obvious why, the wait staff was nothing to look at and not that friendly, service and food was just okay. Don't get me wrong the girls were not unfriendly, you just had to poke and prod them to get any interaction.

Was there about a year ago and the place was rocking, really good looking and very friendly wait staff, not anymore loser8

Enjoyed my lunch with my friend regardless, next time Hooters up

They may be unfriendly due to "all that poking and prodding"...

What type of interaction does one need from a waitress other than refills? Perhaps a caberet lunch buffet is what you were looking for?

I don't know about you two, when I go to a restaurant that requires their female employee's to dress very provocatively one would think that they would at least be engagingly friendly nidea No one is expecting or anticipating any type of lewd behavior from them hammer

I took a selfie a while back in front of the one in Waco where the bikers were killed. Never been in one nor do I plan to.

Do not go into them often, when I do I like to enjoy the atmosphere up

Re: Twin Peaks Plano - 09/28/17 01:39 AM

I was gonna go to the one in Waco, but they shot up the place before I could go. I used to go to Hooter's every now and then, when I was working. I remember going to one in Canada, when on a trip with my puritan boss. I was worried he'd be really upset to find himself near a place with scantily clad gals. No sweat, actually. The gals were a bunch of thick ankled stock shot putter looking folk. Not the hot babes one would expect.

scratch

That is why men go to those places for the eye candy and amusement, certainly not for the food hammer

To me that is like saying; I will go to a topless bar, but I do not need to see the girls take their clothes of or watch them dance confused2

Re: Twin Peaks Plano - 09/29/17 03:21 PM

Good friend of mine is co-founder of Twin Peaks - he sold it all to another company and retired. When it was run by Front Burner restaurants the service and food was very good. This is what happens when a chain gets sold, goes downhill quick as new owners cut corners to recoup some of their investment.

Re: Twin Peaks Plano - 10/31/17 11:54 PM

My office manager's daughter left Hooter's in Mesquite to work there as a bartender. She took a huge cut in tips and ended up going back to Hooter's after a few weeks. I haven't been in a couple of years but it was good back then.
