the wife just mentioned that we need to stock up on tamales on our next visit to Houston. The Balderas Tamale factory on Jones Road in NW Houston has been our go-to place for many years. They make great tamales that aren't the tiny little ones that some places sell. Call ahead to place an order. Good stuff, I promise.
