Bart found his 1st shed

Bart found his 1st shed - 05/18/17 11:35 PM

He came running out of the woods with this little antler and was proud of it. Didn't want to let it go til I told him we needed a picture. He relented and posed for a pic.

Probably the sharpest dog I've ever been around. He really is a great hunter and I've done very little as far as hunting goes, it's all genetics.

Nice, i think your situation allows him to be in the field a LOT. And i think thats letting him excede.

Did you take him to that pay pen you mentioned? Curioys what he thought of the pigs

Good boy! He does not look happy you made him lay that antler down. I bet you have to keep him busy or he could be destructive. roflmao

Yes he did get to go to the baying contest. When I called for the pig, he ran halfway across the pen and started barking. Took him almost 30 seconds til he figured it out and then got right up in the pigs face. He did great for it being the 1st time he's ever seen a feral hog.

Bobby, he has more energy than I thought was possible for a dog. He's always ready to hunt and has no give-up whatsoever.
