Meet "Kimber"

Went and picked her up in Oklahoma Saturday.

She's been pretty good so far. The first night in the crate was not fun but hopefully tonight will be better. She's had a few short sessions today and did well and finally decided it wasn't so bad in there.

She's only had one accident in the house but I've been keeping a good eye on her.

She is retrieving her little toys in the house pretty good also so that's a good sign.

Great looking pup. Always wanted a chocolate but have always ended up with blacks.

Couldn't take the crying when crating my pup. I ended up putting the crate next to the bed on a table the height of the bed...facing me. She was good with that and started sleeping instead of crying. Once they get used to the crate you can put it anywhere.

I may try putting the crate up at eye level and see if that helps.

Hard to keep the little booger still but got a decent photo.

To say I like this puppy would be a big understatement


Yesterday I made the mistake of throwing her to many and she started to lose interest. It was just to dang fun watching her retrieve and being so little. Today I threw her 2-3 tops and never let her lose interest.


I know it's early but I really like what I'm seeing.
