Hi I'm looking for a trainer for my 16 month old black lab. I live in yoakum which is about 45 minutes from victoria. I'd like to find a good trainer within a couple hours. My lab will be mainly retrieving ducks and doves. Thanks for the help.

After doing some googling and multiple phone calls I took my dog to Ed Steward at Sweetwater Retrievers. Called him on a saturday and he really took the time to have a conversation with me and seemed to have a real passion for training dogs. Dropped my dog off earlier today and he took me around and showed me where he keeps the dogs and how he works with them. Overall I was impressed with his facilities and impressed with him.
