Free to Good Home - 5 year old Female Chocolate Lab - 03/26/15 12:56 PM

Hi All,

Posting this for a friend whose neighbor can't keep his dog any more.

5 year old female chocolate lab. I've never met her but the description I got was pretty basic.

"Very friendly dog. Has been on quite a few dove and duck hunts."

I'm not sure how the dog did on said hunts or what formal training she has but I figured there may be some of you out there interested in having another dog.

From what I understand the owner is now married and the wife doesn't want to keep the dog. To be clear, I offered up a better suggestion on which one to get rid of and it sounds like that's not gonna happen so the dog still needs a home. The dog's been kept in a kennel outside and until she finds a better home thats where she'll stay I guess. When my buddy went to see the dog he said she's very friendly, but has been neglected outside for awhile and needs a better place to go.

The price is right so if you're interested shoot me a PM with your # and I'll pass it on. I'm sure there's more info available but that's all I have right now. I'd hate to see the dog go to a shelter and figured I might as well post on here.

She is in the Bay City area.

Thanks all!

That's a fine example of one bad decision causing another. So he gets rid of his dog and in less than a year she runs off with her yoga instructor. bolt

She knew he had the dog before she said I Do.
Maybe someone with a backbone will be the dogs next owner.

My wife hates dogs, as of the 16th of March we have been married 39 years. I have 2 dogs and when Zeke the old man goes, I'll get another. She does her stuff I do mine. She says she would divorce me but she's afraid I'd find someone that makes me happy banana roflmao

Hope she's got a good job because he's gonna need a new bass boat, side scan sonar, about 5 rods and reels, a new tackle box, $500 worth of lures, soft plastics, and tackle just to occupy his time once the dog is gone. I figure she can get it all done for about $75,000!!!
