young one wants a bird dog

I need some help guys i have a 11 yr old son who wants a bird dog or lab he has saved up his allowance or is willing to trade his nef 20 gauge or 22 lol any suggestions thanks hoping someone will know something

What kind of budget is he looking at?

May have a have two pups at the shelter that could make good gun dogs. Look at my post I shelter dogs there two white pups. Let me know if you be interested in one its a 20 dollar adoption fee.

That is one good looking setter.
You're doing right by the boy. Hunt with him while he's young and you won't have to hunt for him when he's older. I shot my first quail when I was about his age and that was 58 years ago. I still love it.

Well guys with broken heart have to say dee got cancer and we had to put her down last week so we're looking for another bird dog boy is heartbroken but one of life's hard lesson rip dee you'll be surely missed
