Walked this property and noticed lots of deer sign and there were a few turkey in the Northeast side of the field strutting as well. Property is north of Wetumka, Oklahoma.
Wewoka Creek runs from the Southwest boundary to the Northwest boundary of the property with that being said there were a lot of deer, hog and turkey travel in this area also. With three ponds on the property plus the river, hunters can do some waterfowl hunting too. There were lots of good deer sign all over this property and with it being laid out the way it is, you can station four hunters if needed to where some good hunting could happen. Some very good tracks running the small draws, where the deer travel coming and going back and forth to the management area.
