Add locations and what game you wanna hunt. Also keep in mind that for that price range you may not be leasing a whole lot of land you may get a few spots on a good lease though.

Where the heck are you leasing? We have 1,100 acres for $10K total less than 2 hours from DFW. I have been invited to better place 9,000 acres for $4500 a spot same distance a only 13 spots.

Where in Texas are you finding a quality place for $6.50/acre less than 2 hours from DFW?

You don't find them. They find you. Old buddy from college invited me on that one. I have never seen their deer entered in any place. I am staying put on my place for now but hunted it once and deer are as good as friends place in S. Tex. Clay and Montague have some nice deer and you won't ever find these places posted for lease anywhere. Invite only. Plenty of below average ones as well. Ours is average for deer. Of our six members, 2 been on 15+, me 8 and I brought others on when a few originals left. Got on mine currently from buddy at work. On the 9,000 acre place, they have a waiting list.
