Is 23 acres enough to "hunt", or is it really more hoping an animal walks on your property and drops when you shoot it?

I guess the real question - how big are the animals' ranges in your area? Do you see the same animals frequently?

Taxes are around $300 a year and i dont think its exempt but you could apply for it.

the taxes would not be anywhere near that amount if the property was ag exempt. They would be more in the range of $50 per year.

You have to have fences, livestock and water to get an AG exemption.

Are you speaking specifically about this county? None of those were requirements at my last place.

That is very true but you actually have to do it. I would seriously doubt if you could get away with that in that area. My parents had 7 acres in that place years ago. The taxes were not that bad to have to jump over hoops to try to get an Ag exemption.
