Deer lease Brazos or surrounding counties

Looking for a small deer lease in Brazos or surrounding counties for me and the wife. We are trying to scale back on traveling and costs of leases to get the 2 boys through college.

Really, really difficult to find leases in that area. Put in for the hunts at Somerville WMA. Tons of deer there and can be some really big bucks at times.

One area that's not too terribly far and had some leases available when I was at ATM was the Buffalo/Centerville area.

Maybe try searching there. Good luck. The land in Brazos,Washington, Grimes all seems cut up and owned by people that use it. My old neighbor in Burleson had 1600 acres that he leased for hunting, but it was always friends of his so he never advertised it. We also hunted some land on the river owned by ATM, but we did work for the school and they put an end to it when they found out.

Thanks cameron00, still looking. plenty of land around with no hunting because of oil wells that were punched. hopefully can find something
