Waterfowl lease near Rock Island - 05/11/16 10:36 PM
I need 2 hunters to fill spots for a waterfowl hunting lease near Rock Island. Rock Island is located west of Altair. Includes seven ponds with two new DU duck ponds to be completed by the end of the summer. This will make a a total of nine ponds ranging in size from a couple of acres to about 40 acres. The lease is on three separate properties within a short distance of each other. We can pump water to some of the ponds with a few being filled by rain water. We have water control devices in the county ditches to assist in filling these with water. Dove hunting is also included. A new property and the property owners' fee increase created a need for additional members. Guests are permitted except for opening days. We will have 27 members. Lease fee is $2000.00 per year. Many of the members have been with me for many years.
