North Oklahoma deer lease(woods county) - 08/04/12 09:41 PM
I have a potential 15,000 acres in woods county Oklahoma on the Kansas line,
And I was wondering before I do lease it , is there anyone out there that would like a few spots up there? It is in different areas in that county, and probably be a bow only lease and get about 100 acres per man and be 12.00 per acre per man, let me know what y'all think

Way to many people for that area..that to many people for the hill county that has 10x the deer density

I grew up hunting Woods County. Where is this place? I can tell you that is waaayyyyy too many people for anywhere in that country.

To give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he got his math wrong?? I grew up hunting in Woods County, it is big, open country with lots of agriculture. And they have some monsters up there. It is a riflemans dream, but definately not a bowhunters paradise. You would be hard pressed to put 20 or 25 guys on that land.
