150" Non-penned deer place - 11/20/17 05:23 PM

I am not interested in hunting deer that were raised in a pen, either on-site or at a breeders. I see lots of deer offered that are obviously like that. I want either low fence, or large high fence "natural" deer. Anybody know of a place that can deliver on that? I am guessing it will have to be in South Texas.

Edit: Feeding a ton of protein and/or having extensive food plots is okay. I still consider that "natural".

There's guy named John Austin I believe is his name and runs lots of hunts on big low fence ranches in south texas. I lost his number so you will have to try and look it up or someone else might post it for
ya.

I have just 1 Whitetail Hunt left for the year. Free range hunt on 10,500 acres just north of Raymondville. We border the Norias Division of the King Ranch. This is an incredible hunt where you will not only see an abundance of whitetail, but we have a huge population of Nilgai, Water Buck, and Oryx. Very unique situation for a low fence ranch. These WT hunts are $2500 for any mature deer up to 150” and includes great lodging, meals, guides, etc.

Thanks for the offers, guys. Some are appealing, some not. I may go with one of them if I can't find something closer. Now I'm going to shoot for a little more and try to find a place a little closer to Houston.

Specifically, I'm thinking of the counties southwest of San Antonio. Anyone have something there?
