Looking to Slay Some Hogs

I'll be heading down to Lackland AFB, San Antonio from Wisconsin in a couple of weeks and am looking for some information (licensing, public areas, hot spots, etc) or some fellow hunters to show me the ropes. Never been hog hunting so I'm really looking forward to coming down. I'll be in San Antonio from 18 April to 27 May. I'll be bringing down a few guns and a limited amount of hunting equipment.
