Units 54 and 551
Opening for 2016 Archery and Rifle Seasons
Early season hunts take place in the wilderness above timberline at 11,000'
These are five day hunts with meals and lodging included.
Top notch guides who know the country and animals.
Landowner vouchers available for all hunts or draw a tag
Combo hunts available for elk and deer.
Prices starting at $3500 tag not included

X2 means "I second that." X3 means "I third that." or "I also second that.", etc.

What size deer are you expecting? Tags are draw only correct?

170 and on up the potential to kill a giant is good. The deer got hit hard during the 07/08 winter but are on the rebound. Some solid 180 and 190 deer have come out the unit the last couple of years. Plus I've seen some good deer on the winter range. Tags are draw but it takes only 1 as NR for archery and 3 for a rifle. I have friends who have ranches in the unit so landowner vouchers are available.
