Galveston Bay Fishing w/ Capt Craig Lambert - 01/14/16 06:56 PM
Fishing continues to be very good right now. The best days have been the windier days with a hard outgoing tide. Lots of big fish are being caught right now which is typical for this time of year as the bigger specks come up on the flats to warm up and feed. The upper portions of the bay are keeping decent salinity levels and live shrimp under a popping cork are catching near limits on most trips. The redfish and black drum aren't very thick right now but the speckled trout have been. Expect a bunch of oversized black drum to start invading our bay system in the next few weeks.
Hope to see you on the water or in the field.
Any hunting guides that may want to trade services just give me a shout.
Take a kid fishing!
