Deer hunt for daughter weekend of Jan 15-17, 2016 - 12/22/15 05:58 PM
Hi, If I am looking at the regulations right a lot of Texas counties have a special youth season in January. Out of state youth Lisc is only $7? If thats right that is great. I would like to bring my wife and daughter for a deer hunt the weekend of Jan 15-17, 2016. My daughter has shot a couple of small bucks (80 to 90 in) but would like her to get a 110-140 in buck. Hog would be a great bonus. Blackbuck would also be considered instead of deer if someone has a great deal on one. Meals not a necessity but clean lodging would be great If Kitchen / BBQ pit / fire pit available we can cook our own meals. Maybe arrive Friday lunch or right after and stay till Sunday lunch? Very respectful family hoping to find a great place to return to for a hunt each year (and bring others in family in the future for their kids to hunt). Would like to keep distance within a couple hours West / South of San Antonio up through Gatesville-Waco toward Dallas. We would be coming from Baton Rouge, La and looking to keep drive to 10 hrs or less. Thanks for looking. Really appreciate any help and responses. PM's welcome. Thanks,
