New Mexico Elk

Would like to see if anyone can give suggestions on outfitter for Elk in New Mexico for 2016.
Will try both public and, if not, private land tags.
Be for two people, one guide. Rifle hunts.

I do have some info for Colorado we were 100% on rifle season for Bulls.


Give a 2X1 break as well

I have hunted with Streater Outdoors. He has several ranches where he gets landowner tags so you are guaranteed one. Low fence and the herd I got into was one of their resident herds. He hunts out of Las Vegas. An old mom and pop motel is where he puts you up and meals are provided. The guide I had was great. It is not a hard hunt and I saw a lot of elk. I did see one bull that would push 350. I was his last hunter and there were a couple of monsters killed before I was able to hunt.

All American Outfitters - based out of Reserve, NM hunts the Gila and Apache forest, Brandon Gaudelli grew up in Houston has been an outfitter close to 20 years. When you check out the GALLERY on his website, I will be the first one holding my bull elk skull. Took it during muzzleloader season.
