I want to welcome the 4M Ranch to the W.T.H.O. family! This property is over 11,000 beautiful acres located right along the Pecos River near Pandale in Val Verde county. Up until now the ranch only allowed access to friends and family and we are very thankful for the owner to now allow the public to enjoy his ranch. The main property is high fenced on 3 sides and open all along the river portion in one continuous 9,000 acre pasture with no interior cross fencing so any deer harvested here can still be scored as free ranging. We also have our Mule deer pasture which we will be offering hunts on in the years to come and our "700"
pasture which is where our higher end whitetail hunts will generally take place. I will be the exclusive outfitter for this property as I am on all of my ranches. The property feeds year round and is on a very strict management program with high standards allowing you the hunter to have a quality experience.
Both Mule Deer and Whitetail are on the MLD Level 3 program allowing us to hunt them from early October through the end of February using tags given to the ranch and not off your actual license. Single hunters are more than welcome up to small groups for bookings. Larger groups are also more than welcome and we are capable of lodging larger parties with prior notice. For those of you needing to get some work in there is good signal with AT&T throughout the ranch, as well as wifi in the Headquarters/Lodge area.
Wildlife on the Ranch- A healthy population of Whitetail both on the free ranging side and "700" pasture with an onsite breeding program. Mule deer are on both the Free ranging side and in the Mule deer only pasture also with an onsite breeding program. Hunts strictly for mule deer will not be offered this year but rather as an add on. Aoudad roam the ranch in several small herds and there are plenty of Javelina to go around. A good population of Quail which is becoming a rarer site now a days- the ranch also breeds on site and releases to help raise native numbers and create a higher breeding population.
On EVERY hunt very nice Lodging, Excellent Meals, and Non Alcoholic Beverages will be provided. Your harvests will be skinned and quartered ready for you to transport and we can arrange for a local Taxidermist to mount your Trophy at your expense. An onsite private paved runway can be used for those wanting to fly in or we do offer a private jet rental out of the Houston area.
Excellent road system throughout the property with dozens of stands available to hunt.
Also included in EVERY hunt will be fishing on the Pecos river where we will provide Your Rod & Reel along with tackle AND as an added bonus you will have access to a 7 position lighted skeet range over looking the Pecos River. Higher End shot guns will be provided along with Shells and clays at no additional charge. You are more than welcome to bring your own shotgun as long as it is an over and under or side by side only. There is also a scenic lunch location located on the highest portion of the ranch for those of you who like a view. We will work with you as best as we can to cater to your needs during your hunt and you will be treated like family from the moment you arrive.
Hunters will be allowed to spot and stalk hunt and not be limited just to blind hunting. There are some great canyons (rough) that offer very limited access and located off the beaten path which would be great for those wanting to go in and hike after a Big Aoudad, Mule deer, and of course Whitetail.
1x1 Guide service for each hunt will be provided.
There is too much to list and you will not be disappointed. This is a perfect place for Corporate groups.
