S Tx Gator Hunts - 02/02/15 07:42 PM

A couple of yall seemed pretty interested in the gator hunt I mentioned so I thought I would post the details here, if you do wanna book give me a call asap because it will be here before you know it. This is for Non-core Gator season which is April 1-June 30, 2015.

The hunt includes..A guided 1 day hunt on the King Ranch (Santa Gertrudis Division), you will come in through Kingsville. The hunt may be modern arms or archery, the gator does not have to be on hook and line but we sometimes do use that technique depending on the activity and conditions for hunting to increase success (this is something that can be discussed prior to hunting). Right now it looks like its gonna be a good season, still plenty of water on the ranch to hunt...so hopefully that does not change. For gators under 10' the price is 1,350$ and gators over 10' the price is 2,600$. We can also provide transportation of your harvested gator to the taxidermist/processor if you choose, from there you will have to make arrangements with them. We will also provide lunch!

What it does not include: We do not provide any kind of lodging or housing, I recommend one of the local hotels in the kingsville area. Hunt price also does not include your guides gratuity/tip

You can PM me here for further discussion but for a faster reply give me a call or shoot me a text at 713-501-3756

How would bow hunts be conducted? Also what would the odds be of getting on a 10'+ gator?

bow hunts we normally set up and bait them in to a close shot, or use the boat to travel until we can get within range of a good gator. Lots of big gators showing up already so the odds of a 10+ are good but no garuntee.
