Late season bow hunt needed- Midwest

Not interested in Texas.
Interested in the bigger bodies in the Midwest.
Missouri, western Kentucky, Illinois...

Native south Texas deer. 230#. I know. They get bigger bodied in the Midwest. But I don't see many bigger bodied in pics on here from the Midwest. We've killed 3 mature bucks this year in south Texas. 210, 220, and 230#.

Not looking for your business because I know you want low fence which is fine by me. Just taking up for our "mini" deer down here.

The main issue with deer in Texas is outfitters are very proud of their deer and charge astronomical amounts to hunt them.

No deer is worth 6k in my opinion. To each his own and thanks again for the reply. Very very nice buck by the way.

No problem. I understand. But really, several of us have 150 class bucks for the 3-4000 range. Which is comparable to Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska.

We can't match those states without our high fences tho. Way too many people kill them at 130"

However, you can hunt a late season buck for way less than 3-4k in those states btw and have a chance at a giant. No kill fees and no guarantee, just the way I like it.

I just like the set fee for any whitetail that walks by.

I ate a tag in Alberta this year bc I wasn't shooting anything less than 160.
