I have one that I have hunted from since 2005. It has survived each hurricane since. During Ike, while it was home, it made laps around the back yard bouncing off of everything. It has numerous scars. I upgraded it two years ago with a new full door replacing the original half door. I added hinged aluminum tinted windows. I bought a Texas Hunters swivel chair. I love that blind. I am 5'8" and it fits me perfectly. It weighs about 85 lbs. Whenever I scoot it off the trailer, I can simply roll it side over side like a drum. I have never had it so easy.

Whenever it got tore up during Ike, I was able to repair it quite easily. Good luck. Hope it turns out well for you!

Are the hinged aluminum windows sold by the manufacturer here in San Antonio? That sounds cool.

Unfortunately, it's way out by Sanderson, but the dump at our lease has probably 2 dozen just sitting there, left by some long-gone group.

I have one, still with the low door, doing nothing by the house, good shape, but it's by Fbg. PM me if you're ever down that way.

Creekrunner,
I purchased the windows from Dickinson Feed.com, they are here near League City. You can buy them online. They are very high quality.
