Wind when hunting from box blind - 08/24/16 02:15 AM
Still fairly new to hunting and had a question regarding wind. Will you still hunt from a box blind even though the wind may not be right? I have feeders north and south of my blind and have never paid much attention to the wind when hunting from my box blind. When hunting from a tripod or pop up, I pay close attention to the wind.
Should I be more pay more attention to the wind when I'm in my box blind?

Tough answer regarding you specifically. I know some
People I wouldn't worry about the wind whereas there are some
People I know who I would worry about putting upwind 300 yards because even I could smell them.
I don t worry too much about the wind in a box blind, I just keep the upwind windows closed. When hunting in a tree stand or tripod, I do worry about the wind.

The box blind contains your scent. I have had deer walk very close to the blind and not scent me. I would not worry about it.

If I can get to the blind and able to get in it, I'll be there!!

I just keep the window closed that would blow my scent out.
