Choosing a 12 v feeder ????

I've got a 30 and 55 gallon drum now I'm looking for the most reliable 12 v feeder I've narrowed it down to your experience and opinion is well appreciated

1) 12v texas hunter wildlife feeder kit
2) 12v All season Evolution Control unit
3) 12v All season Control unit

I bought the motor and it comes with solar panel and eliminator spinner all ready to go, 4 screws and your running. It will sling corn 50' if you like.

Short answer, NO. I bought a protein feeder from Monarch last season. All the spot welds on the feeder tube broke within 3 months. I had to rivet all of them. I'm not happy with the quality of it at all.

HCR TIMERS, IN BURNET TX. ------ I have some of these from 10 yrs ago,,, have NEVER had a problem. The others you mentioned may be just as good,, I"ll never know if they are as good, because I would not consider buying any other kind.,,,, NONE are better, I can guarantee that.

All Seasons...Have had four of them for 3 years now and still running on the same batteries(with their solar panel) never miss a lick !

12v All season Evolution Control unit

Have 1/2 a dozen or so Texas hunter timer/feeder kits.

They have been great. They are supposed to run either on 6v or 12v. They do ok on 6v, but are really great on 12v setups. Very easy to set up. Have had ours out since 2007 no problems with the 12 volt ones.

On 6v if the battery is not FULLY charged they wont feed all the time.

Your three at the top are all decent choices.

Me personally, I am partial to "The Timer" in a galvanized box. Mount a quality solar panel to the box with no exposed wires (or buy one with the panel already mounted), and you will have a trouble-free setup that should be reliable for years. If coons are a challenge where you hunt (and where are they not?) an Eliminator spin plate will pay for itself in less than a year in saved corn.

Experience has shown it's well worth it to "cry once" on a feeder control unit and have reliability and no headaches down the road. You can get such a set up ready to go from Ultramatic, or from me. Drop me a pm if I can help.

Not only are HCR the best but they are the most user friendly

all seasons evololution. Without knowing what the others are. Bought one last week. Love it. So far.

I have 2-12 volt "All Season" feeder units, and have had them running for 7 years now. This may be the exception to the rule, but it is enough to make them my favorite. I have "Wildgame" solar panels on them and my batteries (GEL CELL) last 4 to 5 years. Good luck!

Every company and product that has been listed so far are about the same as far as quality and longevity. What you should look at is price, and the quality of customer service in case you do have a problem
