Question With Guys That Have Stand & Fill And Hogs

I'm thinking about getting a couple of the All Seasons S&F feeders. I have Hogs here and my old feeders get a big hole under them from Hogs and I have to move the feeders around due to water standing under the feeder. I don't want to put fences around my feeders. My question is, do the S&F's get a hole under them like regular feeders? Any Hog problems with these feeders? Can/Will the Hogs turn them over when their empty, do they need to be staked down?

What prices are y'all seeing on the All Seasons 600# S&F feeders? My guy here in Breckenridge is asking $599.00 each.

With hogs, I have found that they will root anywhere there is a feeder unfortunately as it is their nature to dig for more corn/food source. We have never had any issues with hogs breaking or destroying them though as they are pretty tough. We do not stake ours down as the cows/hogs have never knocked an empty one over, but anything is possible for sure. On the skids, they have a nice wide stance and fairly low center of gravity.

That said, we have several of the All Seasons 600 lb S&F feeders on the skids and they are awesome. Hook up the UTV, even if they are full and just drag it over a bit to a new spot. then we try to fill in any holes and level off the ground.

$599.00 is the standard price for the 600 lb feeder that I have seen everywhere. Heck, it is only $40 more than the 300 lb stand and fill by All Seasons and from what I have seen it is much cheaper than many of the other similar options (Judge, Platinum, etc).

I have 3 of the S&F 600# feeders. I feed year round, some mine are never empty. The hogs would still have a tough time turning one over empty due to the low center of gravity. It is possible a cow might flip one if it was so inclined.

These feeders throw corn 25' in all directions, so unlike some of the weaker feeders, I never have an issue with corn pilling up. I have been running these 2 years in the same spot and pigs don't dig since the corn is evenly distributed.

$599.00 is the price quoted.

No problem at all with hogs with ours. We have LOTS of hogs.

I only have one S&F, but will soon get another one. The pigs have dug a bit under the present feeder, but that's no problem. I do have the legs anchored, just in case. I'm using these feeders to replace the cranked hanging feeders, which are kinda whipped after all these years.

These are pretty darn tough feeders. The design and execution is very good.

Take a look at the feeders from Eagle Mountain Outfitters in Ft Worth, the 500# feeders are $875 and the 1000# feeders are $1250.
These feeders do not need fences around them and cows will not knock them over, All of the parts are welded, no rivets,the feeder is built by welders on site in Ft Worth and all timer parts are covered by a 3 year warranty, the feeder itself has a lifetime warranty.

^^^ those look like good feeders. I've seen the concept of deferring the corn outwards on other stand and fill feeders as well. Even if yours aren't rigged like that it's not that hard typically to move the feeder 10-20 feet away

The eagle mountain feeder looks like a HB feeder

You can get big crete slabs at TSC or hardware store... I use to get two and put them together and it would be big enough for the feeder to stand on.. no problem after that...
